I just hit this the other day, Only had the car for about 2 and half years and it is my daily driver, I guess I should drive it more, especially since gas is so cheap right now.

What if any issues have you had at that mileage besides normal wear and tear like brakes etc..

I know there are quite a few C7 Stingrays from 2015-16 that are well over 100k miles. You see them over on the Corvette forums. They are doing remarkably well to date so I don’t suspect much different from the gen 6 Camaro platform. My 2018 SS 1LE has 10600 miles now and seems to get stronger and faster every time I drive it

18.5k on the chassis, 200 miles on the new engine. Hoping this new engine will at least last more than 18.3k miles lolol.

I don't get it, you finally buy your dream car Camaro then rarely drive it, so it sits in the garage most of time while your making your $500 plus car payment.

We have toy cars. The RS got an lt1 option in 2019? Or did you mean 1lt?

Several things here:

-No payments on toy cars allowed. No payments on any unnecessary/luxury item allowed. If I can't afford to pay for it, I probably don't need it.
-I have 5 vehicles at my disposal. 3 of them are significantly better at doing day to day errands than my Camaro
-It feels more special each time I drive it. If I had to get in it every morning to commute to an office, I'm sure I would hate it by now due to that association. As it is, every time I drive this car it is for the purpose of enjoying it instead of trying to squeeze some fractional amount of enjoyment out of each daily drive. There is a lot to be said for this
-we aren't all in the same situation in life

I have about 56k miles now

With mine

@ approx 3 - 5k miles, Power Steering rack failed - this actually lead to a lawsuit after GM repeatedly neglected to repair the issue until GM engineers had to fly in to investigate the car, which very well may have lead to the current Power Steering recall on these cars

@ approx 15k miles, the airbag bracket came loose inside the steering wheel making all kinds of horrible racket while turning. GM fixed under bumper to bumper

@ approx 25k miles, I incurred the Torque Converter Shudder. Fixed by flush and refill for now. Hasn't happened again yet.

@ approx 30k miles, I am completely inaudible during bluetooth calls, noone can hear me and complain of excessive wind and road noise. Tried fixing multiple times but GM brushes it off as normal.

I am in the EXACT same situation as you and agree with what you said... (except we have 4 other cars that are better DDs than the Camaro).

No car payment here either, I wouldn't have bought it if the only way I could afford it was a hefty car payment...

Thanks for that input. When I read the power steering rack failed my eyes went buggy Theres a recall on it? I wish gm would have notified me.
