For anyone who has ordered their car in May. Any lucky movement at all? Or is it looking like Christmas before she gets here...

It's going to be a while. I would imagine Sept/Oct if we are lucky! It's a pretty big waiting room here.....have a seat and kick your feet up!

I ordered towards the end of April and I'm looking like middle of July...got a production date of 6/15 - 6/21. Of course the dealer I ordered from was small and I was still #2 on their list and I only missed being #1 by 4 days. All depends on how big the dealer is and how much allocation they have.

I ordered the end of April and my dealer still thinks by the end of June! Keeping my fingers crossed that he's right!!

Ordered last week of April, still @ 1100, waiting for GM to pick it up?!
Dealer told me 2 months. If it gets here in winter, I have a set of chains and a towstrap ready..

Good luck on the mid July date if you ordered in May. I'm seeing at least a 2 month wait from Accepted to Produced. Then you have QA check, which takes a couple of weeks then you have delivery which will take a couple more weeks. Your looking at around a 3 month wait. May 1st order could get to you by the end of July if you're lucky.

i ordered may 5th, but my dealer had unused allocations.

they said 3-4 months. they said some dealers had been estimating less but that they were sticking by their estimate cause i would only be disapointed if i they weren't at least close ontheir estimate.

given what i have heard on these post, and press releases,...

post here have made the current vin's issued a fact.

"theMole" has confirmed production rates and saturday production starting in June.

based on everything i can find out, my order will be about #16500 which, barring production disruption, will roll off the assembly line mid june.

assume no QA issues, and 2 weeks for delivery and I'm thinking the end of June for delivery.

so, if I'm right, i get mine in about 2 months. if the dealer is right, i wait 4 more weeks.

what is one month??????

not everybody's dealer had open allocations when they took their order. your dealer may have had 15 allocations for the first quarter but took 50 orders. 16+ wil sit at a production code of 1100 till next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you ordered an option that is on constraint,.... your order will be accepted by GM and held INDEFINATELY untill all the custom parts are in to make your car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you ordered strips, your gonna be bayed and WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

If your unit gets pulled for a Quality Control issue, your gonna wait!!!!!!!!!!!! (and good for you. you won't receive a POS. you'll get a fixed, top-of-the-line unit)

easy people. there are a lot of variables in the mix here as to when you might actually receive your order. and there is no crystal ball, no weiji board that is gonna change the fact that you just need to chill.

that said, i'm dreamin too.....

Hey guys......Im looking at June or July delivery. Just went to 3000 either today or yesterday. It's looking good for us.

Checked today and went to 3000 May 27, 2009.
Monday might be fun when GM goes to the wolves.
