TPW and Status Questions

So My TPW has been 11/28 and status of 3400 for the last couple weeks. I guess if the TPW didn't change , would that mean it is being built this week? While it is being built does the status just stay as 3400 TPW 11/28? I then assume for the next week or two is should move to Status 3800 and so on.

That would be correct if all goes well. From produced to ready to ship. No news is good news, likely built on the 28th.

It should be built this week. They work Monday through Thursday. It could be built already, or built yet this week, or pushed to next week if issues arise at the Plant.

IIRC my car was 3400 > 3800 on it's exact TPW Date. When you hit 3800 you can obtain the VIN number (FYI). I took delivery 32 days later, The event codes never moved above 3800, my dealer was tracking it in Vin View telling me it's still in LGR and then 3 days later, it showed up.

Anything can happen.

Shipping is always a bit of a mystery , depends on how and how many. Being your in Illinois might not take long but they always fill up a truck so how many cars going your way matters.

My C7 was built in Bowling Green, Kentucky on a Friday morning and was at my dealer in Toronto Monday morning. That was a bit of good fortune made happen thru a contact at GM.

Thanks everyone for the replies, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Im hoping it is built this week and shipped soon. Would like to get my hands on it before snow chances increase (usually Jan\Feb are the highest chances in my area....although we already had one odd snow event but melted quickly) and also before they decide to raise interest rates again. I do like recently seeing here lately that for some shipping/delivery is taking 2-4 weeks, which would be great. Like CamaroRSOnt stated being in IL may help a little since they come from Michigan.

TPW on my 23 2SS 1LE was 10/31, think following week it was still TPW 10/31, week after was 3800 then last week moved to 4300 intermediate delivery with ETA of 12/14 per DCChevySales here, and ETA 12/16 per my salesperson. Month and a half from TPW possibly.
