New look for my engine bay.

Had a rear main, and thought it would be a good time to finish cleaning my engine bay while I took the engine out. getting close to being done.

looks good but the waterpump is killing your flow (no pun intended)
the routing of the brakelines through the cowl is awesome. ive never seen that before.

also, are the 2 holes in your wheel wells for the choo choos?

Damn! Looking good!

Did you respray under there or did you just keep your nearly 10 year old car immaculately clean?

Edit: Stupid question, duh. My CGM doesn't look like that under the hood. Derp.

I also got black headers. and other parts thats why I choose a black wrinkle finish. Hindsight I did it to hide a not so perfect sanding job. I am changing the color of headers and throttle body, but I'm in the middle of a move, a new kid, and trying to hurry and finish the car (very busy to say the least).

The two holes are for my strut bar and that is going to be a different color eventually too. I got to just get it back together as time and budget are pretty much it for right now.

Not a dumb question, it was CGM PRIMER and not cleared. later I cleared it when I installed my cam. years ago I relocated the fuse box and ABS.

I just wanted something to show off all that I have done as CGM is so dark its kinda hard to see what I have done. Here are some old pictures from what it was originally this year.

Looks amazing! That takes a ton of work to do something this nice. I wish I had the time and patience to do something like that.

I’m in the same boat. Each winter I been doing a section to clean up. This year I did the ABS module relocation. Gotta paint the passenger side tower in spring time.

What strut tower bar do you have? I been looking for something aftermarket..
