I suspect if no holiday offers come out tomorrow there won't be any, but that seems unusual as most other manufacturers are offering deals.

Profits are way up but sales are way down so I guess with GM’s new way of pleasing their shareholders one of the biggest three day weekends of the year in the business no longer needs a sale of any kind. It seems it’s all about cutting back on costs and incentives these days, regardless of all the absolutely horrible sales figures that have led to so many plant cutbacks and closings. It’s become obvious that what now counts with GM is profit per vehicle and not how many are sold...

This does appear to be the situation. I'm truly shocked that GM offered NOTHING for Presidents Day. Typically they would at least offer some sort of "Loyalty" incentives Jan/Feb.

I've purchased nearly all of my 12 new GM cars(dating back to 2002) in this timeframe and there's ALWAYS been better offers. MSRP's were much lower as well. I'll likely return to keeping my cars much longer if this is the new reality at GM, or jump ship altogether.

Anyone still considering buying without any real Feb incentives except the GM card bonus?

I'm working with a dealer but not looking too promising. Maybe the last few days of the month will loosen them up a bit.

Oh man, the 2SS Hot Wheels Vert is my dream. Hope they can find a way to get the numbers down for you now that we are getting at the end of the month. I would think the dealer you are working with would get very aggressive if they are still sitting on 7 leftover 2018’s....

I couldn’t let my bonus points go down the toilet so I am picking up a new fully loaded kinetic blue 2019 Cruze Premier RS hatchback on Monday for my daily driver. There is a $1K GM loyalty rebate on 2019 Cruze in addition to the rebates and my GM Card Bonus cash. My dealer got VERY aggressive at the end of the month and I am extremely pleased with the numbers. They finally made all the advanced safety equipment available on the final run of the Cruze I.e automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection braking, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert, side blind spot monitoring, and auto high beam assist. Another nice update on the 19’s allows the engine stop/start feature to be deactivated when you choose, along with Bose 9 speaker sound, dope new 18 inch polished aluminum wheels and Michelin low profile tires, plus new LED tail lamps and a front facia facelift refresh. All just in time for the end of production final run in March, and just when they finally get it right... So GM....

On Saturday we finally cut a deal on our new 2018 Hot Wheels conv, 1 of 241 automatics produced. Used $3100 GM Card earnings + $2500 incentives + $4225 dealer demo/discounts for a total of $9825 off the MSRP of $58,225. Given the limited incentives for this month I'm very pleased with this hard fought negotiation. This car had a few demo miles as it was used as a promo car at the Pocono racetrack, but warranty began upon purchase. I also traded in my trusty 2014 Chevy Volt with 45k miles for $10K. We've now used a grand total of $29,819.84 GM Card earnings toward 13 new GM cars since 2002.

Hey guys can someone explain something to me I’m looking at some new 19s and my father has a gm card. I know he has close to $3000 in earnings but it seems like I can only use $1500 towards a camaro? It seems like you guys are using a different point system? He has had his card since ‘97 if that matters. Thanks!

The literature/flyer in the mail for GM earnings said $1500 on camaros in January and February and I have a mid 90's card as well but the actual savings was the full amount of $3,000 for me. I called the GM Rewards Card customer service folks to verify. BTW I passed on a 2019 ss camaro. I could not get a decent deal. Ended up buying a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab Z71 at around 31% off MSRP with my GM Card earnings.

It’s not as good as last years bonus but I just got an offer for a $1,000 bonus rebate from my card that’s good until March 2nd. Keep a lookout for this if you are in the market...
