35k otd for a new 18 2ss, no go. I hope you find it but i'm not positive. Also, get the dual mode. It's only 995 (when I got it).

Or just check the clasifides on here. You can find great deals and some good reputable users selling (like me!)

Got the wife's 2016 2SS 'vert with about 7,000 miles for $36k in January of this year. I agree, expecting to get an '18 model for that is unrealistic.

I just bought a 2019 2SS w/ Brembo brakes, Magnetic Ride control, extra black wheels, red accent interior, auto, NPP. I got for about $48k OTD, with a $53.4k sticker.

You can buy a 2LT with the convenience and lighting package and dual-exhaust. It is almost identical to a 2SS without the 8 cylinders and in your price range.

I looked for almost 2 months and the best price I found, I jumped on. I found a 1SS, Auto, NPP for $32K out the door. I had to buy out of state and deal with all that headache. But, I couldn't find a local dealer to come within $4K of that price, so I think finding a 2SS for $35 isn't going to happen. If you are able to find one toward the end of 2019, still on a lot, you may get closer to your desired price, but even then, unlikely.

Good luck, and if you do find one, let us all know the dealership.

My 1SS was from Elkland Chevrolet in PA. Great to deal with, and do a lot of long distance sales.

What is a reasonable low-ball offer I can make? I'm thinking 35k out the door, is that on the ball or should I shoot lower or higher?

Honestly I don't need everything in the 2SS but the HUD is a must for me so thems the breaks.
So, did you get a car? What did you end up with?

I just bought a New 2019 2SS (5 miles on it) with black wheels, magnetic ride, and duel mode exhaust for 37K OTD (MSRP was 48K). I bought it the last day in Jan and they even gave me free floor mats, wheels locks and all season tires.

It took me two weeks to negotiate this deal, but the they final caved due to poor sales and needing to hit their sales numbers.

So, 11,000 under sticker AFTER tax, title, and license on a brand new 2019. 25% or more?

Crazy, I offer 6 or 7k under sticker before TT&L on a 2018 model and get told to take a hike. Must be a regional thing.

See if you can get me a ZL1 for 45k or so. I'll meet you at the dealership.

Buy out of state. Save thousands. Drive home. Take care of most of the break in miles. Win-win&win

It was a crazy deal; I usually push pretty hard and only deal with them via email until we are close. I'm really enjoying the car, but I'm still 1000 miles from full break in so no fun yet...

I am in the same situation as OP

There is this one 2SS at my local dealer that is pretty much fully loaded and it was selling for 43K and just recently went down to 39,999. Its been sitting in the lot since early summer. Apparently no one wants it (IDK why)

However is it possible to get that car at 35K even? since we are now in 2019. Its a 2018 model.

If its an auto, the A8 is crap and GM is in extend and pretend mode . The depreciation on that car is going to be a mother.
