Anyone mount tweeter pods or surface mount tweeters in a 1SS yet?

Why not use the factory locations at the front corners of the dash?

I was under the impression that getting into the dash was a lot of trouble.
I wonder what size tweeters are the 1SS dash tweeter spots? For imaging purposes, that location is pretty far from the mid, but i could live with it if the location is easy to work with.

Easy to mount in the factory location. I have Hybrid Audio Legatia tweeters in the factory spot.

Did you have to run new wiring? Or did you two into the door speakers?
