I just found, that a corvette is a small warship. "It is traditionally the smallest class of vessel considered to be a proper (or "rated") warship. The warship class above the corvette is that of the frigate, while the class below was historically that of the sloop-of-war."
Mmmmmm did not know that corvette meant anything

I've been a member of Corvette Forum for a while, I don't really have any issues with it. Like any forum, say something stupid and resident experts will be sure to educate you on how big of an idiot you are. As long as you're using it to ask genuine questions and not get too involved in the politics (not as in real world as in inside the forum) of the place, then you'll be fine.

I agree. I changed my list to C7 Forum.

Having owned a couple Corvettes, I’ve been a member there for over 10 years (well before the C7 section existed). I learned really quick to avoid the “general” sections, and stick to the “Performance” or “Forced Induction” forums. There’s a bunch of good and knowledgeable dudes in the C6 FI section. Guys that care about performance — not what kind of wax to use.

I owned a C4, 1996 LT4 Coupe for 8 years. The C4 section is awesome in terms of good people, spirit of community, and people that know what they are doing.
It really is a good forum all around. There are a few chest pounding, egomaniacs, especially in the C7 group, but then they are pretty easy to ignore. But for the most part, the Corvette community in general are pretty good folks. Until you start talking about how well the Gen 6 Camaro compares. lol |
