I cannot stop thinking about the V6. Maybe it is because it was the blue at the reveal and that really struck me. Aside from how good it looks I think the V6 would be a fun driver's car. It sounds great and has plenty of power for public roads.

My gut says the V6 ticks all the boxes. My heart says get the V8 you fool. My wallet can't figure out why this is even an argument. ;-)

I can afford a loaded V6 or a moderately (not base) SS without much trouble financially and pay off the balance after trade/cash over a few years. But honestly, I just love saving as much money as I can each month, and so I'm not sure I want to spend 40K on a car which is what a moderately equipped SS/RS with auto is going to cost.

So I voted V6 even though I may end up in a V8.

This new V6 is going to be a hell of a good drivers car. Its already been said one of the test cars got rubber going into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears by a member on this forum that drove it. Lighter, more power, and that dual mode exhaust even sounds pretty aggressive without being annoyingly raspy. WIN!

So I have zero issues going with another V6. We'll see in a few months what I do lol.

I know when it comes to tuning/bolt ons, the T4 will be even quicker, but I don't care. Don't really want it, but I have nothing against it either. I think they are awesome in their own right.

I fully plan on purchasing a V6. I've been nothing but happy with the 2011 V6 that I own and this new one sounds like it will be even better.

That being said, I will be testing all three engines. The V8 to see if I can talk myself in to it and the T4 because it intrigues me. Plan is, a fully loaded V6. Who knows if that will change...

V8 for me. I also really like the SS changes over the other two cars shown.

If I wasn't a performance fanatic I would go v6. My current car is a tad faster that what a stock SS will do and I wish this car were faster at times. Can't afford a zl1 though, but a bolt on 11 second SS sounds good.

I love the style of these vehicles and the "stuff" they can do (like the built in WiFi that the 6th Gen's will have). So I will be looking to get a V6 (it really helps that V6's in these Camaro's are more powerful than Yesteryear's V8's). I also would like a 1LT (if they're still doing that) because I actually don't like leather. Lastly I hope there is an option for 18" Wheels too (probably with the 1LT) because I don't like the skinny tires that come on BIG wheels.

This.

My only fear is being realized. With the T4 being the base model this means the 6 is going upmarket which means price also. It was nice buying a base model LS with a 6 and upgrading with ZL1 wheels which totally changed the handling. I believe the 6 will now be a $30000 plus car and puts the 8 even closer or above 40.

No more entry-level NA V8s for me. My next car will be forced induction and a V8. Whether its a Hellcat, 13-14 Shelby, C6 ZR1, or whatever might be up and coming will depend on which is the better deal as far as price.

The cam sound and shake at idle takes away the meh feel.
