If you have his email too, sign him up for a NAMBLA membership. A little spam from them should get his goat.

I wouldn't waste a breath to that dealer, Call Chevrolet Customer service and report it. You WILL get results period. Been there done that.

47k truck bought so far away. Not saying that you shouldn't but it may be one reason he's so bold.

Also how are they going to install the lowjack if you're so far away? Did you set it up to be installed at a local dealer instead? If not maybe you still can?

Awful far to drive to not have had it installed before taking ownership of the truck.

No excuses for the salesman but it's not necessarily his fault if the service department sucks.

I did learn a new word though.

Normally they are all paranoid about the surveys... they always tell me if you have anything bad on the survey bring it to our attention and we'll fix it.

Sounds like you sent it in already... so you lost a bit of your haggling to get things done ASAP. Same time, it's a bit pathetic you have to threaten them with the survey to get things done right.

Just be careful. I wouldnt want anyone from my own community going through this.
I bought my Z/28 from them last month. All good from my deal.

Ask for a refund on the crap lo Jack.

Call Chevy and make a YouTube video. YouTube worked for the Porsche guy that got screwed by Porsche a few years back.

Exactly.
If they were to read this thread, it would not help you.

If you cannot connect by phone, write them a letter and send it registered mail. Send it to whomever owns or is ultimately the top management of the dealership. If you approach it correctly, you will get some results.

That, or move on. Sticks and stones... it's only words. Surely there are much larger things to be working on.

I just picked up my new truck from that dealership last month. Except that's all I did.

I purchased it from Becky @ Rodgers Chevrolet.

You would have been better off going up the road to Buckalew and I would definitely get a refund on the 1500. They will scream like pigs over a refund because LoJac probably cost them 500 bucks.

Good luck with that, Munday Chevrolet has one of the highest sales volumes in the area and are known to not care what your opinion is. I would publicly shame him on Facebook. Start with your own page and then share it on Munday's, here, and the news outlets (channels 2/13/26). Start with a picture of your phone text and ask for a full refund.

Within the H-Town club, we know which dealers to avoid and which we have strong connections with. While this obviously won't guarantee excellent results every time, our members have generally had good experiences with our preferred dealerships.

I would recommend to anyone in Texas to contact one of the local Camaro clubs for a preferred dealer recommendation. Or, as Mlee just mentioned, Becky@Rodgers Chevrolet!

Yes, funny for sure but....don't, it's a felony in Texas and you will go to prison for up to 10 years per ad.
