Looking for wider tires out back, wheel suggestions?
Car is a 2017 ZL1 with 200+ whp over stock and still adding more as we speak. Looking to fit a wider tire out back and possibly move up the width in the front.
After 3 years and many people trying different combinations is there any recommendations you guys can make, looking for people to respond that have a combination wheel/tire actually installed. I don't mind minor tweaks to the front struts or wiring harness moves (seen so far these are pretty common tweaks). Wouldn't mind if they were easier to clean too Running PS4S stock size on stock wheels right now. They can hold 2 gear kinda but don't get enough traction in first as you'd imagine. Car is normally street driven but occasionally it attends some HPDEs. Thanks.

I went 295/30/20 up front and 325/30/20 out back. Wheels are 20x10 up front with stock OS. For the back I went 20x11.5 with +41 OS. Wire harness on drivers rear side has to be moved in board with zip ties X2 and fender liner needed to be massaged in a bit using $10 heating gun and roller. Everything fits great! But if I oils do it again I would have gone with +42 or 43 for the rear OS just to move the tire a bit more in. Still no regrets tho.

Are you looking to stay within a 19”-20” wheels?
If not, I think the best choice is a 17x10 for the rear with a 305/45 street r. Just helped a buddy mount/balance and align his new signature wheels. He has 1le specs all around. His car makes 700whp and has the Michelin cup 2’s(305 Front,325 Rear). Traction is much better but he still can’t get it to hook. No wiring harness re route needed for his but he did knock the front struts down with a grinder due to the added negative camber and added wheel width. For my 17x10, I relocated/moved the harness in the drivers fender. All I did was undo/remove the factory zip ties and moved the harness up towards the fender and re zip tied it. Another thing you could look into is a R888 or a Street R in a 305/35 20 size for the factory wheels, but the tire is like 29” which seems to freak the cars out by offsetting the front and rear so much. Also, looks kinda goofy imo. These cars do everything great! Seems like the best bet for you (and me too) is to get a drag pack for playing and a track set for the turns. |

Looking for 19-20" range, not interested in R888.

Are you running the actual 1LE wheel or an equivalent 19x12+41?

Im running 19x11 43 I think I need a 12inch wheel to because of the wheel is wider than the rim.
Here is a 325 vs 345 comparison. Had had any problems just a look preference.

I’m running 19x12 with a 325/30. Fits and looks great.

I know you said you don't want to do the R888Rs, but it sounds like you've got more power than me and the Toyos are the only ones that have done the job for me so far. Then again, if you are doing HPDEs maybe sticking with the PS4S would be better.
