Hope so! They forgot to take off the front spring spacers and they didn't put the stock intake parts in the trunk, so I figure it's like 50/50 lol. Car runs great so f**k it.

It’s hard to tell with new cars as to gains. Read anywhere from 0 to 15, usually 10 or so. Then the theory that the computer hauls back initial gains once , or if, the cai is out of stock parameters. Same thing on fifth gens. And yes, gains can be due to leaning the mixture as a/f is usually rich from factory. I haven’t seen any thing definite yet on the forum. And dyno pulls can be up or down 5 hp or more.

FWIW I was looking at the intake and on Chevy's accessory site installation was only $45 at my dealer. I've installed numerous intakes so I'm not going to pay them to do it. I can't imagine them denying the warranty unless they could prove you installed it incorrectly and it's really easy to make sure to re-torque everything down before you took the car in for a powertrain issue.

That's cheap, I thought someone said that the dealer would charge you an hour of labour for it.

I mentioned the directions say >1 hour. So I just figured the dealer would charge no more than 1 hour.
