Revving in Neutral
I have a 2013 Camaro SS, and ever since I got the exhaust system upgraded, I like to throw it in neutral and rev it every now and then while I'm cruising around, then pop it back in drive. Is this safe for the car? Or will it damage it to switch from drive to neutral (revving), then back to drive?

You have rev limiters to prevent damage, but it isn't the best for the engine to just freely rev it for no reason.
Neutral dropping the car is also hard on the trans, but I don't think you can rev really high in N

NOT GOOD...clutch engagement like this cause faster wear....trans fluid will break down faster...shoulda gone with a manual!...lol
Seriously...moving gear selector from drive to neutral or rev/park obviously designed to be performed "while stopped"....now your paddle shifftin, manual trans shiftin,,etc...you are still in DRIVE while doing that...so O.K. you wanna hear your exhaust wait till the perfect down shift point and then floor it....peace out...
