Add 150+ Bolt-On HP to 2016 Camaros with just 7 psi of ProCharged, Intercooled Boost! ProCharger’s engineering team continues to lead the way, this time with an outstanding design that produces a long list of advantages, including unmatched power and repeatability, cool charge air temperatures, ease of installation, and complete reversibility.

A very well know name when wanting to make big power is ProCharger. As we have seen and tested they have some of the best systems for making power efficiently and quickly.

ProCharger took delivery of their 2016 Camaro SS just before the holidays, and got right to work. Since then we have talked to them about when their kit would be released and available. WELL.... the time is NOW!! They are shooting for March to have their system completed and ready to go for the public. They are hoping to see some great numbers since the LT1 is a great power plant already.

As we all know the LT1 is a power house that was transplanted from the C7. After talking to their sales team they were able to inform us that, although the Camaro has the LT1, the brackets are similar but the piping and lines will have to be redone to account for the smaller space available under the hood. They are hoping to offer their wide variety of head units that they offer in their 5th Gen Camaro kits.

Things are about to turn up in the Camaro world!!

The P-1SC-1 head-unit will produce about 7psi and they are looking at about 150+hp gain!!

Belt drive system:

HO Intercooler system below with standard proflow bypass valve.

Stage 2 Intercooler below shown wit optional "Race" bypass valve.

What all does the sc kit come with? Does it come with anything fuel related or is the OE system up to the task with the default boost levels?

The kit comes with everything needed for an easy install. Word on the street is that this kit takes about 8hrs to install. Normally a kit takes about 12hrs to install, that time is cut down a lot.

The factory fuel systems will hold the power that they are getting out of the kits. No injectors or boost a pump are needed.
