103mm Throttle Body / Ported Throttle Body Nick Williams

Checkout the Nick Williams 103mm ported throttle body. This thing is really nice and simply blows away all the other products I have seen. I think you can install this in most applications with a spacer, but the MSD and or after market blower are typically bigger openings than the stock GM intake manifold.

Also what do you mean by "ported" did you port the 103 from how it comes?

I haven’t tested a Katech setup, but I know CMS has and they recommended the NW offering over Katech.

The term ported is misplaced in text here but was more directed at the competition that just ports stock TBs. The NW setup is smooth and doesn’t require any sort of porting.

That’s out of context... ‘that I have seen’ is part of that statement. As mentioned above, I have not personally tested the Katech offering. But the people I trust have, they told me to buy a NW setup, So I seeked it out and did.

Katech does make some great products, I love my Valley cover.

so then the question remains, how's the power bump and is it really worth the price? will you need a re-tune after the fact?

I wasnt implying anything... maybe I was just too blunt. Lol. Was just curious if there was information out there.

I have a NW on my own car and have seen positive results. I did however need to port the snout of my Magnuson Heartbeat in order for the 103 blade to be able to open completely as well as increase flow.

On my Whipple I just needed a small spacer, its amazing how close the tolerance is/was.

Sorry wasn't trying to come off as a dick in my response, not my intent. Just have been getting a lot of people putting words in my mouth. Not much info available. Both are very well made. I'd love to understand the differences. Maybe I can buy a Katech and do some testing. Not a cheap endeavor, but worth it for the info.

I am going to do some pulls with the stock TB, a stock ported TB, the NW TB and I think I will buy a Katech and see what happens.
