Don't sweat it...hard to pull one over on a site where guys live & breath this car.

I've always owned 4x4's & mlee a moderator on here informed me on the tricks...if you think the floor tap is cool, holding the downshift to 6k rpm will really lite you up the first time...Just be ready to upshift immediately.

Like grampa_ss, I prefer the auto tap vs the manual trick if I was wanting to get the most out of a launch / roll run.

I tried those buttons exactly and no performance shift, no missiles. Nothing.

You should get a bunch of extra lives though...

The x-box generation likely didn't get it.

If it doesn't work for you, turn the car off. Pop the hood. Blow really hard on the engine and try again.

Sometimes you can put your shirt over it before you blow on it. Kind of a warm boot method.

Nor us non-video gamers... but I figured it had something to do with video games.

Yeah...it goes back at least 30 years. Mostly for the old guys who 'used' to play with the tv.

A Serious Question

I have a 2016 with about 6000 miles on it and I've had it in recently for a bad battery with a bad cell and my gauges quit working. The dealer updated the software and put in a new battery and everything is working well. I don't seem to be able to get it into performance shift mode. Does anybody have an idea?
