They make millions of dollars a year right? Is it surprising they're not driving "entry level" sports cars, if they even like sports cars?

Half the battle is that the cars are left hand drive which, being low to the ground and with poor visibility is a nightmare on British roads. They'd be a bit of a death-trap. Most of the Prem players drive herking great 4x4s and you can't blame them.
But realising that Rooney has the same Camaro as I do might force me to sell... bejeebus I don't want to be labelled as having the same ride as that Manc twat!
