This car comes stock with 285/305 and I wanted to try something with more tire up front.

They should clear with no problem since the mag ride struts stick out further than the regular struts from what I'm led to believe but thats just what I've heard and not fact until we can get someone to test it out first.

Thanks for the great info Sean!!

From the moment we all heard about the ZL1 1LE, everyone wanted to know if the 1LE wheels would fit the standard ZL1, so I started taking measurements on my ZL1. I didn't know the exact offset of the 1LE wheels for a while, but my guess was really close. I felt like the wheels would "just" fit and would only take minor changes to get them to, if they didn't bolt right up. I appreciate you confirming this. I may look at doing the swap in the future.

Cem, had the same though as I was pricing out a second set of wheels for the ZL1 (Apex's widest is a "11, so no go there). So--I spoke with CCW, unfortunately they can't do any offset below et25, so any fronts for our cars are out. Bummer

Have you measured the stock tire height compared to the 1LE set up? I am curious if the speedometer would be accurate. Thanks, Sam.

Hmm interesting.. How aboutt the BC Forged? They're even cheaper than the CCWs and only with 4 weeks wait time (vs 14 weeks with CCWs AFAIK).

Other good option is the new APEX SM 10 wheels in 18" sizes 18x10.5" +22mm and 18x11 +43mm offsets. The fronts will require either 8mm spacer and some grinding or camber plates but it should be doable with some extra grinding and maybe back down the front camber to -2.7 camber from -3.0

As you know I recently ordered and am awaiting a set of Forgestar CF5V in Super Deep Concave Front and Rear in stock ZL1 offsets and widths...

I'll post once they're on - As my NT01s are in the garage waiting.

I have spacers just in case but I also have the strut tabs ground down a bit... so I likely will not need them ...

-3.0* camber front and -1.25* rear for folks wondering

Yes, they are the same sizes & offsets as the regular ZL1. The ZL1 1LE wheels have been used on a number of SS 1LE's (like mine: -2.8 front / -1.8 rear camber) with no spacers - just the bit of grinding on the front struts.

Good to know that I likely won't need any spacers for my new CF5Vs then

1.8 in rear - NICE

Has anyone been consistently running the zl1 1le knock offs with these tires, on an ss 1le, with any problems. Id imagine we would be using a small spacer.

I can't answer that question, but I can add that I recently mounted up 5th Gen Z28 wheels to my SS 1LE.

No spacer, but a grind of the strut, and took a little camber out of the knuckle which was corrected at the top with camber plates. I have -3 degrees of camber with no spacer as a result, so they're tucked in as close as possible.

Well if by knock offs you mean the M716 you will not need a spacer at all. is a direct Camaro fit.
thanks to Sean we created the 19x10.5 14et along with a 19x11 rear
or just the standard 19x10 front.
either way they will bolt right on to your car.

Considering no replicas are offered in 19x11 front fitment currently... This question isn't really valid.
