It sure is bad timing. It sounds like this strike could be a long one. My guess is if they don't go back to work soon it will be pushed off until spring.

Pretty certain they aren't making your girl this week, but you're in the que and that's what counts (whether they deliver in November or later).

I'm interested to hear what your dealer is saying you should expect with the strike? Have they offered anything other than "we'll see..."?

I haven't talked to them at all. I figured I would wait a week or two and see if they contact me. Hopefully the get a deal done soon.

Looks like we are in this together. I placed my order July16 and just found out that my TPW is today, Sept 30.

I would rather them reschedule the car for spring next year, let the workers get their minds back on the job in the hopes of having a half decently built car.

Checked with my dealer today and no longer have a target production week for my ZL1... I may just walk on this deal and buy something else that wasn't built by the UAW.

That sucks. I checked yesterday and mine still hasn't changed. So far still in the que to be built. I agree, I would rather it come in the spring now. Long range forecast is not looking good. We will have salt on the roads here soon. I traded my car in and it has sold long ago so no backing out for me. I wouldn't anyway. All the drama will make it so much sweeter when it shows!

IIRC you ordered a ZLE. If so I really doubt they will send it this time of year due to the issues with the tires in the cold weather temperatures.

I think so too. I hope they hold off now until spring. Maybe I can then add a couple more options that I wish I had ordered off the get go.

If you are in the market for a ZL1 , not a ZLE, Larry Hudson Chev in Listowel Ontario shows a new 19 coupe for just under 70k ( I think about 4k off msrp )and 2 2020 verts at full msrp.
An option anyway.

Thank you. Hopefully they ship it quick. I probably won't even put it on the road now. I'll pick it up in the trailer and right to heated garage. I will probably have the car down to bare metal after shinning it for the next 5 months lol.
