2017 2LT v6 w/ 14k miles for 22.5k OR 2018 v6 2LT CPO hot wheels w/ 4k miles for 28.8

Both have NPP exhaust and the convenience and lighting package package.

-Both 2LT v6

-2017 has 14k miles and the 2018 has 4k

- However, the 2018 is certified pre owned and the 2017 is not.

- The 2018 has the hot wheels package(originally a 5k option), maybe id value at 2k now.

- 2018 as a sunroof

I guess what it comes down to is the 2018 having the hot wheels package, it being certified pre owned, 10k less miles, a year newer, and a sunroof. Does it justify the $6.3k increase in price?

I really like the ground effects and interior of the hot wheels package but the 2017 is so much cheaper...

note: if you saw my post about the 30k 2ss previously rental car- it sold

If you like the hot wheels package, I'd go with that one. Rarity, sunroof, and not even broke in yet. I'd try to get a little more off the price, though. Are they both A8's?

And don't fret about the one that sold - there are a bunch of those rentals still out there if you decide you want one of them =)

Sorry I am unfamiliar, what do you mean by A8?

In addition, it turns out the dealer with the 2017 adds on a lot of B.S. fees bringing up the price.

A8 = Automatic 8 speed transmission

Both of those Camaro's have that transmission. The fluid in the transmission can cause the torque converter to shudder and need replacement. I'd bet they both, especially the hot wheels, don't have enough miles to have any damage. The fix is a fluid flush any Chevy dealer can perform and it should be good for a long time.

When you test drive them, see how they do cruising at low speeds (40-50 mph) going up an incline. If you feel any vibrations, it is the shudder from the TC. The newest fix seems to be working out pretty well for most of the people who have received it.

It has worked fantastic on my Cadillac CTS with the same transmission as the Camaro's.

I'd go for the hot wheels man. CPO and that orange interior? I regret getting my redline and wish I would've got a hotwheels instead.
