I use one of these from Amazon. I removed the adhesive tape and replaced it with the rough half of velcro. This way it is removable and sticks to the carpet easily. I have mine mounted between the seat bolster and center tunnel just about even with the front part of the seat. It is very easy to get to the phone and keeps it from falling between the seat and console. I will try and post up a picture tonight when I get home. I have an iphone 8 plus for reference.

Mine slides out of my pockets often. Especially when I hit the gas.

I use a weathertech cupfone.

It works great, I wouldnt use anything that could damage the interior. So no stickies, glues, I'd like a solid mount with screws but not if Im drilling into a body panel that isn't easily or cheaply replaced.
Basically, no other product out there would fit my criteria. So I went with the cupfone. You lose a cupholder, which I'm still kinda figuring out. But I seldom have passengers, so my water bottle and cupfone take the cupholders. With a passenger I'd probably just plug my phone in and throw in the console- use the native navigation to do maps stuff.
Anyways, I love the cupfone. Holds everything secure. I highly recommend not using any products with adhesives. They all melt in the heat of the sun and will fall off, leaving behind nastiness.
