When not in use, will they fit underneath your car for storage convenience?
Is there sufficient clearance to drive over them?

Thanks,
Chris

I’m not sure. That might be a tight squeeze to drive over them. I hang mine up when not in use with the quickjack wall hangers

How much do each of the quickjacks (the part you hang on the wall) weigh if I may ask? Their web site seems to indicate that they each weigh in the neighborhood of 100 pounds each ?

5000ext is perfect for my Camaro. Maybe the 7000ext if I had to do it again....maybe? I Have used it on Nissan Altima's as well so far and zero regrets. Getting ready to order the truck/SUV extensions. Here's the link for comparing the models. Tons of info on their site.

They are pretty heavy. It takes a little bit of muscle to lift them up on the wall like that.

I’d say they weigh between 80-90 pounds. Pretty heavy but thanks to the wheels, very easy to maneuver

Thank you. At 67 I ain't no spring chicken anymore. Lifting 90 pounds isn't as easy as it used to be

I know either of these models will ultimately work, but does anyone who has either model wish they had gotten the other? I know we’re only talking about a 6” difference in length between the two but that could be significant for reasons I’m not aware of.

Thanks,
Chris
Chris, I have the ext 7,000 and in my opinion they are not long enough for my 2017 ZL1. I use the ZL1 add-on pads that stay on the car and I had to get a second set to put on the 2nd pinch point that is further back from the front tire.I have the same issue as some others thinking to much weight on the front of the car overhang. I got the 7,000 because of a heavy truck I own.
If I had it to do over I would look at the ext 6,000 which I believe is 6 inches longer that the 7000ext. I did't measure, but I think that would be perfect for the ZL1. Worth checking out if you are going to buy one.

The 6000ext came out just recently. My concern would be the overall length of the frames themselves. Ok so I have a 2015 and measured right around 86" from the front tire to the rear tire. In my case, it would be a crapshoot if the 6000ext would work. Here's another helpful link for which models would work for you. This is what I used to figure out what lift to buy for myself.

Excellent suggestion, the 6000 is actually 9.5” longer than the 7000ext. Unfortunately, it is also 110lbs per side. I’ve had two hernia operations, I’m not looking to have a third. I’m reluctant to commit to something I may not be able to handle. I’ll have to call them next week and see just how expensive it would be to return one if it doesn’t work out.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
The weight is no bargain to deal with, for me anyway. I keep mine on 4 little furniture movers on each end so I only pick up one side at a time. I roll them to the car and drop them next to it.
There is a guy on here that made some glides in his machine shop that makes it much easier to push and pull under the car. I will look up his name if you are interested .
As far as shipping back, my boxes were destroyed getting here to Georgia. Wheels were broken, one of the ends were bent from dropping during shipping.
They took care of me quickly, but I can't imagine trying send them back.
Hope this helps,
John

Had to study your original pic for a minute to figure out what was going on. Fixed!

This is how the 7000lb ext version reaches the rear & front most forward pinch welds.

Chris,
After seeing the pictures that Cleancoupe posted I see I was wrong on the information I gave you on the length for the ext version being to short. I need to get under mine and see what I did wrong. Sorry for any confusion.
