So Much Hate on Tilted Down Screen

So... The Camaro6 gets a bunch of hate for the center-mounted infotainment screen tilted slightly downwards (from my friends, car magazines, youtube reviews), but no one bashes on the new McLaren 720s's driver display being tilted downwards similar to our camaros?

Sorry, I had to vent a bit, seems like the car industry just has to find something to hate on the Camaro vs the Mustang. Both are nice cars, but how can someone say the interior on the Pre-refreshed Mustang is better than the Camaro's? Crazy.

My theory behind it (and i'm sure many others) is that it is for glare. Anyone have any other possible reasons. I never looked into it because i just couldn't be bothered. It pissed me off at first but you get used to it. It comes up again and again every time someone new sits in my car and brings it up. I'd prefer it to be normal lol

I'm 6'1" with a long torso and I don't even notice it being tilted down. I know it's an issue with a lot of people but I don't even think about it.

There's absolutely nothing physically wrong with the tilt of the screen. At least for someone who is 6ft. Most of the negative comments i've read seem to be aesthetically based. Not actual usage issues, and not actual experience reviews.

It works, it looks perfectly fine from the seats and it's easy to use. I'd put people who rag on the angle of the screen in the same boat as the people who complain about visibility. In a bucket of i couldn't care less about their opinions. They're the same people who would get in that McLaren and complain about the noise and stiff suspension.

No problems here with the angle of the screen. People are just looking for something to bitch about, no different than any other topic in life these days.

Was the first thing I noticed sitting in the car with the salesman going over the features when I took ownership. Was the first thing I forgot about when I left. It's only been 3 days, and like you, I actually completely forgot it was angled until I saw this thread.

Same here plus I have never had anyone in my car notice or mention it. This amounts to a whole lot of nothing.
