Salvage Camaro back to life
This is my introduction - I've been driving my Camaro for almost a year now. My camaro became the first 6th gen to road in my country and I bought in an auction in copart. Just to let you know if you want a Camaro in El Salvador, Central America the dealer is asking $65,000 for a RS and it is only by special petition (they don't have them in stock), I know crazy right?
So I went to copart and i bought a 2017 LT for around $9,000, after all the transportation fees, taxes and repair costs it ended costing me arround $20K. It was run and drive and had 17K miles. I found the registry calls of the previous owner so if someone recognize his name in the attached pictures I have your ex camaro haha. The only mods so far: RS headlight conversion and ZL1 rear spoiler. I'm having the transmission shudder as expected and I will have to deal with it by my own. Dealer here doesn't even want to make a transmission oil change. So far pretty happy with the car. I also drive a BMW e90 which I also enjoy. |

Vs $65K for a new one which is what it would cost for him? I'm not sure it's that dumb.
