Suspension GURUS please ADVISE!!!
I recently purchased a 2019 SS WITHOUT MRC and while I HATED the ride on my ZL1 1LE and I got rid of it and got this car; I would like to set up this SS to handle as well as possible WITHOUT riding like a DUMP TRUCK since this is a daily driver.
I will be getting APEX wheels 19 x 10.5 SQUARE set up with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 305 30 19's all the way around. I ALSO have purchased the UMI/PFADT lowering springs. I also am replacing the STOCK brake system with the complete system off a ZL1 NOW, with the above options as a base , what would you add to OPTIMIZE handling. As a side note, I DID look into ADDING MRC after the fact, but it is cost prohibitive.

Not lowering it is the first thing to making a better ride.

Well I should have mentioned. I have NO problem with a firmer ride than stock but the ZL1 ILE set up is WAY too uncompromising when it comes to ride quality. The REGULAR Zl1 with MRC is IMO perfect compromise but unfortunately VERY few SS have mag ride option because I tried to find one but had no luck. I wanted the A10 so that's why I ended up with a 2019.

I'm not seeing any UMI/PFADT lowering springs for a 6th gen Camaro with a quick google search to check specs, but in general I'd suggest avoiding changing just springs and not dampers. Lowering springs typically increase spring rate which would normally require damper changes to match if you want to be "optimized." If that's your main goal, I'd suggest returning the lowering springs and looking into coil-overs and adjustable sway bars if you're not afraid of setting up suspension on your own, or push the easy button and get GM's Lowering Suspension Upgrade System (PN 84225254) and Sway Bar Upgrade System (PN 84242386). With the GM stuff you get new springs and dampers with the lowering system, and stiffer sway bars and front handling links to stiffen stuff up a bit more without completely killing the ride you have with the stock setup.
Or, to play the long game, maybe even sit back and wait for this to get all your suspension upgrades and more: https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/04...ne-key-update/

He wanted the A10.
OP, you could contact Jeff at ProParts USA about dampers. Jeff has made Koni dampers for his SS non MRC car.
