All this ensures is that they will be making many replacement parts for these vehicles in the next 10 years!

GM's EV sales totals look pretty weak. Not much touting of the EV transition in their article...lol
Camaro did better. Too bad its ended. Eventually their EVs might sell (once that is all they offer, that is.) The EV Blazer and EV Silverado look like total duds. |

It's more because they can't make them than whether or not people want to buy them. People like me who waited way to long for Blazer EV to show up have moved on and bought something else. Same thing is happening with Cadillac Lyriq. GM is waaay behind on building what they said they would for these models.

Their sales results are not surprising. GM did well in their typical stronghold markets: Trucks, large SUVs. They will need to continue to have a firm grasp in these markets, as the competition is mounting.
I predict that GM will have a hard time in their other segments, because they do not go far enough to differentiate its products from other offerings. GM also has an obviouis gap in certain car segments that they have yet to answer. Additionally, its great that Cadillac is being recognized for quality; The problem is that it remains a slim market because of the price point.

And Stellantis. Probably even more so than Ford or GM.
