Yes, but, Stainless Works NPP was right at same weight for a cat back as the stock. The larger pipe diameter adds to the weight for the SW system.

The Borla System will save you 10+ pounds. Shipping weight is 68 pounds I believe. The remnants of the old system weighs way more than that I am sure of.

Went with American Racing Headers with Cats Intermedite system 1 7/8” into stock exhaust. Incredible sound difference, particularly at WOT. And with happy neighbors. You can keep adding other goodies from there but that’s a great place to start or finish.

Made a seperate post but here is the reply from Solo performance.
Hey,

Thanks so much for the email. As of now, we already have an axle back for the non-NPP Camaro. We have another Camaro coming in to the shop in 3 weeks to make an axle back for the NPP equipped cars.

If you have a non-NPP car, we have an axle back now. If it's a NPP version, we should have something in about 4 weeks.

Thank you for your business/inquiry/email. Your recommendations to your family, friends, and business associates would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,

Steve Mariano

If your going to do headers just leave the stock axle back on and put on the headers and midpipes

I'd recommend leaving the factory suitcase unless you're like me and think it looks ridiculous from behind the car and is heavy. If you're ok with both of those, then keep the stock NPP and just use ARH Headers + No cats long system to it. You CAN go with a high flow option but they're on and off, if you're pulleying the LT4 and plan on running a cam at some point, then I'd highly recommend no cats. If you run high flows on that sort of a setup, you'll gut them eventually and then they'll just clog up an X pipe or the suitcase and just screw everything up and you'll have to spend a bunch more coin to buy a whole new exhaust.

I have 2" catless headers. sounds incredible wide open and with the exhaust in touring mode its no louder than factory. zero drone. ive beat the idea to death about finding something different but the stock muffler is the only one that presents a best of both worlds scenario
