After the 2019 restyle was announced, it pushed me to get a 17-18 since I liked that front and back styling much better than the new look.

I rarely see any Gen 6 Camaros around my area period, and so far have seen only one '19. It was an RS.

Maybe it has to do with only being available in a manual (if an ss) and not too many manual drivers out there.
For some reason the rear lights on the 2019 does not seem to match the lines of the car...IMO. Then again, I'm the guy that will straighten a crooked pic on the wall...

Hence I went with a 2017 or would have gone with a 2018 if it was available in my area.

I wonder if lack of new forum members with 1le, is just a general trend away from car forums? In general, I don't see as much activity on the bmw forums i frequent as i did 5-10 years ago. But it could all be my perception, as a car ages there's just less interest.

If they really are scarce, is it guys snapping up the good deals out there on lightly used 17's and new leftover 18's plus the polarizing (good to some, not good at all to others) front end?

Just wondering. Personal opinion is it's all three...
Combination of they are pretty rare cars (as all 1LE's are), and people are moving away from forums and on to Facebook groups. There is a great "6th Gen 1LE Owners" group on there...

I have been driving a 1Le for the last 5 years and have not seen a single one until last weekend when i seen a 2019 SIM 1Le driving towards me , they have a great look with the new frontend . It actually took a few seconds before i realized what it was , of course i was driving my Traverse at the time .

I saw one 2017/2018 1LE driving by in my supermarket parking lot once a year ago!

I saw a 2019 silver SS in the same lot driving by five months ago. The silver looked great, it was obviously a brand new car, and the nose didn't look that bad. I am not a fan of the new nose, but it looked alright in that color combo.

Both times I was coming out of the market so I couldn't wave.

This is the sum total I've seen of these two styles, one time each!

I may have to start going with a slight breach of etiquette and wave regardless of what i'm driving or even if walking .

If they had parked I would've gone up and talked. I'll give a thumbs up next time I see them, waving might look a little weird from a guy walking with a shopping cart. I did wave at a (non-1LE) ZL1 I've seen about three times in traffic.

I have seen a couple SS 19s in my area a white one and a red. Have not seen another 19 1LE outside of mine. I know when I started my search for a 19 1LE there were very few in south Florida sitting at dealer lots, that was two months...there may be more now.

VIR so jealous! The new Roval is a blast too!

(I lived in Cary for a couple years.)

also iRacing has many of your local tracks; Charlotte Roval, VIR, Road Atlanta. You could get lots of practice in before you hit the tarmac!
