Texas Speed aluminium intake manifold.

Suppoedly there is an LT version in the works, soon to come out (box even said ls/lt). Would be nice to have something that fits under the hood or atleast doesn't require cutting the plastic over the firewall.

The video with the intercooler built in was more impressive

they stated in their comments below that they currently have a prototype one on their 6th gen, so it appears it will work

Yea they confirmed it in the comments on top of the box print being a bit of an easter egg.

Good post. Hopefully the LT1 version fits under the hood like mentioned in the comments.

problem is, sufficient runner length are similar to the high ram.. which require hood cut. MSD is a good contender but high ram out runs it up top. simply no way around it for sufficient runner length. But I am curious to see what TSP has in the works for another intake

Yeah I understand that. I was wanting the hi-ram and currently have a rotofab, I think it's doable with the rotofab. I think the tubing needs modifying. My main concern is if I go with a different hood, the rotofab won't seal against the hood and suck hot air. Where if I was to cut the hood then I wouldn't have that problem I'd just have hole in the hood.

So maybe this will be what I will end up doing. Time will tell I guess

I'm very curious myself. If it could get close to high ram performance with a good fit I think its a win. As great as the high ram is in terms of runner length, I'm sure in terms of plenum volume and the neck of the opening itself there's room for the TxS intake to improve on.

So people are thinking that we can hook this texas speed manifold up to the stock airintake or a rotofab intake and it clear the stock hood? I thought we were basically screwed on an intake unless you go to an taller hood? or is that more a C7 problem?

Texas speed guys said it would clear on a 6th gen hood when I asked them.
