FYI there is almost an 1.25" difference in tire diameter between a 305/30-20 and a 305/35-20 tire.
A 305/30-20's overall diameter is 27.2" whereas a 305/35-20's overall diameter is 28.4". That's a substantial difference and could potentially throw off other things. Plus it's basically 5/8" or 15MM to 16MM extra sidewall height. |

You mean stock base SS? (Non-1LE) That would still be over a 3/4" taller diameter with a 305/35-20.
Stock SS 1LE and ZL1 (non-1LE) is 285/30-20 and 305/30-20. I went up an inch on the rear of my old 02 SS and ran into several issues. It thru my speedometer off between 4/5 MPH and my ABS didn't care for it at all. |

My BFG Rivals are 5% too small, just the size they came in, and am very familiar with the speedo problems, which can be solved with HP Tuners. Luckily TCS and stability control don't care, but mine may be significantly dumber than what comes on the 1LE.
