Post Need Help / Suggestions

Hello everyone I am asking for help & suggestions on the next step of my build. Current mods are listed in the signature place below.

But I am currently upgrading -

TSP Stage 3 Cam w/ VVT Delete
Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Exhaust
New Powerbond Pulley System
(This what I currently have and waiting to be installed)

Now, this is where I need help & suggestion for more supporting mods:
(What I am thinking so far)

Suspension (Full)
3.91 Ratio Ring & Pinion set (maybe Richmond installation Kit, no idea what that is)
ZL1 fuel pump with bigger Injectors (or any other is better opinion)
Bigger tires
Driveshaft (unless stock can hold enough)

(I believe I am forgetting things but lets start here)
intermediate level of knowlegede, so description and helpful tips and suggestion much appreciated. Trying to learn more.

It really depends on what this build goal is. I had the Richmond 3.91's and they are strong, no wine, and tons of fun. Make sure the installer knows how to setup a rear or you can wind up with a wine or worse.

Fual wise a ZL1 pump is good to around 700hp give or take. If you plan on more than do a dual pump now. Anything from 1000 to 1300 injectors can hold you well into 4 figures hp wise.

Big power requires good rubber. Drag radials is the way to go. Most run 305's.

Thanks for the information. Currently I'm trying to keep slowly building it as I can. Boosted with be down the road. But add mods to car making sure when I can boost I have every helping part already installed.

What your opinion on the suspension and driveshaft?

At some point you will need suspension upgrades. I did mine as the power grew. I fully expect to break an axle or driveshaft this coming season.

I did get a quote from BMR awhile back for a full suspension kit.

Do you know a good website for pricing?

Trailing arms, toe links, solid rear subframe bushings, Eaton trutrac, lpw diff cover, dss or gforce axles.

The trailing arms, toe links and bushings will nearly eliminate wheel hop which is the most detrimental thing to the rear. The trutrac will give you a posi rear end and will help with not snapping the ring and pinion gear. Lpw diff cover, idk everyone that does the trutrac has one. Axles, welll thats a no brainer, thats the weakest part in the rear of the car. Stock cars have broken the axles.

I got everything from ADM in Dallas, price wasn't a concern for me.

No need for ZL1 pump/injectors yet. Driveshaft isn't really worth the money, suspension, yep..I'd repeat what I've done save for having to swap to newer control arms as you already have them.

CamaroDreams76 said it well. I would go suspension and drivetrain first. It'll make the car a lot more fun to drive and you will be ready for any power adders afterwords. Trailing arms, toe links, solid rear subframe bushings and axles all first for sure. They will benefit you whether you decide to set your suspension up for drag or street/autocross.

If it breaks, consider that an opportunity to upgrade! LOL
