Yeah no you can’t spin this like I did or said anything initially wrong to illicit a sarcastic and condescending reply from minute one. You have no grounds here. Sorry try again.

Does the SS 1LE auto come with the AFM cylinder shutdown "feature?"

If you really want a 1LE, and really want an automatic, I don't think you could go wrong. My only concerns would be if these developed the shudder the SS autos have, and if the AFM would start messing with you as the miles add up. Problems only if you plan on keeping the car out of warranty, then it's just a matter of your money to fix the issues correctly. AFM delete and a tune, aftermarket torque converter etc.

IIRC all manuals have no AFM, where the autos have AFM.

I really like the 10 speed in the 1LE and ZL1.
The 10 speed works well, no matter which configuration you get. Whether it's LT1, SS, ZL1 or 1LE. It will come down to personal preference. Normal driving, not much difference. More convenience with the auto. Drive it spiritedly, the M6 will always be more fun. Even though the A10 might give you an edge on track, the manual is always a more fun and engaging experience. The 10 speed 1LE is still fun to drive though. I will say that the ZL1 or SS 1LE are the only performance cars that I would even consider getting in an automatic. The trans is that good. Before that, if I was getting a V8 Camaro, it was going to be a manual. |

There are a lot of cars that I would buy with a good auto or DCT, a Camaro is not one of them.

i am curious of the performance gains from the a10. both road course and drag strip. id expect the a10 1LE to have the best launch ability given the tire/trans combo, but it is definitely the heaviest of the na cars (excluding verts).

Get a manual if you get a 1le. Autos are boring as hell

I’m curious for curiosities sake as well. I can’t say I’ve seen auto 1LE videos but the ZLE video(s) showing the A10s capabilities are impressive. “Auto” is no longer a dirty word.
I wouldn’t go as far and say the M6 is better. The word I would use is a manual car is more engaging. |

I just picked up a '21 A10 1LE and hit 500 miles this morning. I used to have a '13 ZL1 auto. This thing is a BLAST! Videos to come
