it's nice and all, but when I buy trucks I want torque not HP.
not sure of the price of this truck, but I could probably have a Powerstroke driving a 10 speed w/>1050 ft. lbs.

GM is producing a new "true" off-road Silverado as we speak. It is being called the ZRX. From what I have read over the past few months, it is getting the same 6.2L that is available in the full-sized trucks now and it will also receive a lot of trick components similar to the ZR2 Colorado. It should be pretty wicked.

Well I guess its just a natural progression they did a Viper V10 in a 1/2 Ton Shortbed
They must not retain liability lawyers at Fiat/Chrysler

The Ram looks good. I currently have a Silverado Trail Boss, it's a fairly capable off road vehicle already but I would love to have the DSSV Multimatic shocks. I can already put 34's on it stock, so It would be a real competitor to the Raptor and Rebel.

There is talk that the Durango will be getting the Hellcat treatment and could be shown as soon as the April Autoshow in New York

For me...(old fart) a truck is utilitarian...does the dirty work. It is not a performance/race car. But I guess there is a market for it...because it seems like its always the pick up trucks that want to race me.
