I have the free WiFi data since the car is new, but I won’t be subscribing to it. I can’t think of any good reason to do so. Even if you wanted a hotspot subscribtion that was independent of your phone, the way to go is get a mobile hotspot with its own subscription. That way you aren’t dependent on being in the vicinity of your car.
