Incoming calls

Have a 2017 2ss with navigation. Does anyone know if it is supposed to announce or display incoming calls? Is there a setting that I need to enable?

It's supposed to indicate incoming calls, yes. I don't recall having to do anything except enable bluetooth on the phone and pair it with the car. After this, both the car and the phone ring, and the call is displayed in the DIC, showing full caller info. Even the caller's profile picture is displayed, if there is one.

Since you have a SS, you should get a screen prompt in the DIC and at the bottom of the myLink screen about incoming call. You should also hear a ring tone (mine is the default 90's cell phone sound). Can you place a call in your car with myLink? If so, you should be able to receiver one too.

Thanks. I am still learning the tech on this thing as it is only about a month old, to me. I had someone call me last week and my phone rang, the car rang but I didn't see any notification of the call on the hud or the mylink screen. I had someone call me today a few times and it all checked out so it may have been a glitch.
