Looks like they are performing this work on all vehicles that are at the dealership for service or on the lot. Time for a trip to the dealer, not a fan but its piece of mind....

Thanks for the post OP

From my perspective electrical malfunctions that could directly and adversely affect steering in an EPS integrated automobiles should be a safety recall and not a TSB. On another note ....

Is this area easily accessible once belly pan is removed so protective wire management can be added?

Ok
Don’t want to go to the dealer neither.
Pictures of the issue?
Parts involved?
What to do?

I’m going to do it myself as soon as I know which part to add where to protect that wire....

Just had this done today! They called me while it was there for oil change and asked if I was ok having it done while it was there. Worked out perfect. It sounded like a quick easy fix.

Mine squeal like a pig. But, at 1100 miles the previous owner warped the rotors. My dealer is going to warranty them and install my Powerstop ceramics in a few weeks.

Damn, someone had that car before you? put 1100 miles on it and managed to warp the rotors??

I took my car in Friday for an oil change and they told me about this recall. They said it would only be an hour to do. I was there about 2.5 hours. I drove the car home about 6 miles parked it. Went to get it it out a couple days later and had a light show going off. Service stability track, service rear axle, service power steering, service traction control. I backed the car out of the garage and the park assist was not working yet I had it on. The steering wheel felt like no power steering. So now first thing tomorrow I will be back at the dealership to have them fix what they screwed up. Not a happy camper.

Can you please post all pages of that TSB? Thank you!

This exact thing happened to me in December. I was driving and the car backfired and bucked and rpms dropped to zero. I was close to the dealership so I dropped it off. Two codes showed up, p0340 and p0341. They called me the next day and said the wiring harness was rubbing on the AC belt. They spliced 7 circuits and also replaced the AC belt. They also said they moved the harness so it wouldn't happen again. I hope everyone has it checked out before the same thing happens.

Anyone have any luck getting the brake squeak fixed? Mine have been squealing like a bitch since I took delivery 6k miles later no change. It happens when they are cold and warm.

I was told about this recall during a recent oil change as well. Part ordered. After the oil change, I had several bizarre things happening with the infotainment and the AC was blowing cool air (not cold) out of the driver vents and blowing warm air out of the passenger vents. The odd infotainment stuff stopped after a few minutes but the AC never corrected itself no matter what I've tried. Guess I'll be getting more than just the conduit looked at during the next visit.

People.. it's NOT a recall. It's a service bulletin. Big difference.
