It's a Dingledarm. It's there to dampen side fumbling. If your marzelvanes fumble too much they can cause total protonic reversal. It gets ugly from there. This is really the biggest problem with the new Camaro. That and the tri-pronged blivot.

Need to see more side profile pics, liking the Rims better. Also looks like the front wheel gap maybe a tad smaller, perhaps its me hoping... Liking what I see.

On a separate note, anyone want to buy a 2016 Camaro 2SS and a 2016 Chevy SS Sedan? I really might consider selling them both for this car.

I know the front fenders are wider on the ZL1 but did they have to flare out the 1/4 panels to get those wheels/tires to fit? I doubt it if it's just an option package for the ZL1 but that is a lot of rubber!
