M017 front poke
Just got my M017's installed, 20x10 with 285/30/20 on the front, backs are staggered; 20x11 305/30/20.
The back wheels seem good but the front does have a bit of poke and was wondering how I can make this more flush, if possible:

Only solutions I can think of are more camber, or having someone roll your fenders. Not sure of any other way to do it. You can also install the fender flares from the corvette but it's not a good solution unless you're mainly using your car on the track.
How much of a gap do you have between the wheel and the strut? You could probably get away with a different offset that would put the tires closer to the strut. |

It's a shame MRR doesn't make a 9" rim. A nice front tire compromise would be a 255/35/20 or 265/35/20 on a 9" rim. From a purely aesthetic prospective, I think a 10" rim is just too wide for the front of a LT1/SS, but I know a lot of other guys like the look of a 285 in the front. I'm probably going to go with a 275/35/20 on the front of a 10" MRR 1LE rim, but if they made a 9" rim I would go with something a little narrower.

I agree, in theory, with a -23 offset (vs. the OEM 1LE front offset of -20) we should actually be 3mm in further than OEM wheels, I'n guessing there is some kind of rotor tophat/brake assembly/struct difference that make the non-1LE have a bit more poke (probably compensating for the standard 8.5" wheels)...

the factory 1LE wheels are the same. My front tires on my 1LE have a tiny bit of poke just like that and rear is flush. So I guess they tried to mimic the same setup as factory

This has always annoyed me a bit as it just helps the car throw more road debris at itself. I wish they woulda made them flush like the rear.
