Pops and Crackles for 19/20 ZL1 6MT

Hello,

I currently own a 2019 Camaro 2ss 6MT. It pops and crackles like crazy. Almost every time a downshift and rev match. Especially when its cold out it pops really loud and I absolutely love it. I am looking to upgrade to a 19/20 zl1 in the next few months. Obviously the ZL1 is a lot faster and thats what I want but I really do not want to miss the crazy exhaust that the 2019 SS has. I was wondering if there were any 19/20 zl1 owners with a 6MT that can let me know if their exhaust crackles and pops as well.

I have a 19 ZLE with a Corsa Extreme+ catback and in Tour depending on speed / revs it’ll gurgle, more often in Sport and then in Track it’ll literally make gunshots.

That's exactly what I wanted. How much did you spend for the catback and install?

Apparently all the '19+ SS and ZL1's (and C7 Z06) have been tuned differently from previous years to have more pops and crackles.

My '19 A10 ZL1 crackles and pops every time I do a rev match downshift completely stock. The sweet spot is around 3-4k rpm. Either down shifting to here or getting on the throttle and releasing it in that range will give you some nice noise. Don't see why it would be different on the M6.

I am not completely sure if it pops as much as the SS though. Maybe a little less, but you have the supercharger whine too.

Corsa isn’t cheap but it’s 0 drone and perfect fitment, I’m in Canada so it’s a lot more up here than you’ll pay lol. Was about $3000 for exhaust and me and friends did it at their shop

That's pricy but yeah I have been watching some videos and Corsa sounds amazing!

Corsa has an NPP option now, too, if you haven't been following it.

The new Corsa NPP stuff gets pretty expensive. If you want your stock muffler set up to get a little louder just add a set of long tubes.
