It's not raspy like the stock NPP. The valves work great and the stealth mode sounds a lot better than stock NPP does.

Here's a clip of the idle - Borla S-Type NPP Idle
Very nice! My next purchase

Best car I've had so far

Reached a milestone today. She can purr like a kitten and roar like a lion, turns on a dime, pulls well over 1g in corners, accelerates like a champ, brakes with authority and shifts impeccably—every drive is a joy in this car.

I parked at Red Rocks Ampitheatre just outside of Denver last weekend and looked down as I was getting out of the car and saw 10,000 exactly on the odometer but unfortunately was not able to snap a pic.

I guess we both have classics now.

took off intake manifold (thanks chevy for making that so customer friendly < /s> ) so I could reach the 10 dollar coolant temp sensor which is still wedged in a nearly inaccessibly small area.

I'm not sure what I hate more. The engineer who put this garbage sensor where it's at or the programmer who designed the ECU to not handle what seems to always be a momentary blip in signal from this sensor since every single time I've monitored the sensor with external tools while the ecu is throwing the code, it reads fine and clearing the code always returns to normal. It's purposely coded to force owners to take the car in for service that would be avoidable with an extra single line of code.

So pissed off... and removing the sensor is probably going to leak coolant everywhere because why not? It's chevy.

Bike rack! The only pain is that you gotta remove the front wheel of your bike every time but jeez it gets tons of attention.

Wow! I just went with the GM Accessory Curt hitch and a Thule platform carrier. Of course, it would be hard for me to duplicate your setup with a convertible.

Put my Camaro away for the winter yesterday.

Gonna be driving my friend's Mazda 6 GT 2.5T for the winter. Not nearly as fast, but it is comfortable and economical so I am not complaining.

installed the Curt hitch #11900, and Curt bike rack #18030. The hitch install was DIY, and not too bad. I couldn't find many 4 bike racks that fit the 1.25" and 2" hitches. The instructions for the hitch require an included support strap when using the 1.25" hitch. It can connect inside the trunk. It's really kind of a negative, but i wanted a rack that i an use on both the Camaro and our Traverse.

That's very good news, and by the way, you have the best color, it pops in the sun so well

Just be glad it's not a German car, where you probably need to remove the heads of the engine to get to something, you need specialized tools and you have to reprogram the sensor with a special computer dealers have.

And no manufacturer will make their car that friendly to work on. There is the apparent "dealers gotta make money" thing but usually when you make these things more accessible, they also tend to be less space efficient. I have seen a friend's V6 engine bay. Not as crammed as the V8, you actually get quite a bit of room in front of the engine.
