Wider, Smaller Square Set Up?
Hello all! I recently purchased a 2020 Camaro LT1. I am loving this machine so far! The looks, the power, the sounds... Simply awesome!
But I was wondering about wheel and tire sizes. Eventually I would like to go with a smaller wheel/wider tire setup on this car. The stock size on the LT1 is a 245/40/20, front and rear, non-staggered. And The LT1's do have Brembo brakes, but only in the front. However I was wondering what smaller, wider wheel options are out there that would fit the LT1 without modifying anything else? Thinking something like a 17 or 18 inch wheel, but also a wider tire size, such as a 275, as a square set up. I don't plan on drag racing this car or anything, so I'm not looking for a drag pack setup, just a smaller, wider wheel/tire for daily driving. Is this possible? Anyone done something like this yet? If so, please post a pic or two! Thanks!

I have Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's 275/40/19 on 19 x 9.5 wheels. It drives great, no rubbing.

Yep, an 18x10 would be the smallest, widest wheel I would run on the street. Am actually picking up a set here in a couple of weeks. One thing to note, tire options are limited at this size. Not many performance cars came with wide 18" wheels. 19's would likely result in better tire options.
