I will post up when I finally get mine and take it to the track. If the day works for you, feel free to tag along. I will be very interested in comparing the 1LE to my Spec Miata, e46 m3 and some of my friends cars (gt4, Carerra s). Admittedly I think most of my track time will still be spent in the Miata, but it'll be nice to hop in the 1LE for a session or two ;-)

KH...are the side mirrors gloss black (body color) or matte black like the hood and spoiler?

Seems like the auto show car had matte black side mirrors but prefer body color as we r thinking red...

Same here. I'm still bayed but I expect it to ship any day now since my car was built only 3 days after KH.

The mirrors are a matte black, not satin black like the hood, spoiler, and wheels. You'll get matte black too.

Humm, pictures do not look like that at all...hard to tell I guess?

The mirrors look more shiny/glossy than the hood wrap and such to my eyes. Matte is more dull/flat looking than satin, which will have a tinge of sheen/gloss in it.

The one I saw (which was "preproduction") had a satin black splitter, mirrors, spoiler, and diffuser. More so of a matte black hood wrap (the nature of the vinyl), and satin graphite wheels.

...and of course the grille inserts and hood vents were gloss black like a regular SS.

Guess I will know for sure sometime in the next century when I get mine.

I think the mirrors look different from the hood because they are actually painted not wrapped. I may wrap the mirrors when I get the roof wrapped so that everything matches nicely.

Look at other pics of the C&D and MT cars though...the hood will look a tad "duller" due to the wrap, but if you ask me the splitter, spoiler, mirrors and diffuser looks the same on those cars?

I actually am thinking of painting my mirrors white...not digging the black mirrors yet. They seem to just be too "out there". But I will wait until I get it to cast final judgement.
