MyLink aftermarket backup cam system

Just got my car back last night and installed an aftermarket backup camera system in my car. the backup camera system is just under $200 and the dealer programing ran me $115. the install instructions were written poorly so it took me about 4 hours to install the whole kit.

I didn't take any pictures while doing the install because I was limited on how much time the car could be down due to having to take my mother in-law to the bus station and I was doing the install by myself with no help. I will try and get some pictures of the backup camera video and of the camera itself as well and post them up later.

Sounds like you had a good day. Back up camera and your mother-in-law out of town on a bus. I'd be celebrating.

Did the dealer understand what you wanted them to do fairly easy?

reason i ask is this can be done on the newer dodge's also but some dealers will put up a stink about having to change the sales code for you.

Do the grid lines curve and move with the direction of the steering wheel as you turn it to guide you in or is it always straight no matter if you turn wheel or not?

I don't think it is. I actually drilled a hole in the plastic plug that was between the license plate lights and mounted the camera in that and it looks like it came from the factory that way.
