LT2 intake high pitch noise

Hi guys. I installed my lt2 intake and 95mm throttle body and cannot figure out what is causing this extremely loud high pitch noise. If I change the throttle body out nothing changes. If I switch the lt1 intake back on it goes away. I’ll try and post a video of it.

Check for leaks at the brake booster fitting or gasket between the throttle body and manifold.

I was thinking brake booster but tried to play with the hose and fitting thinking if it was loose it would change the noise but nothing happened. I have the ICT billet adapter for the throttle body which has the print gasket and paper gasket so I can’t imagine that being it either.

Definitely not the brake booster fitting. I took the fitting out and plugged the hole. Noise still remains.

Throttle body gasket. Not sure what was happening. I switched the direction of the gasket and tightened it as tight as I could get the adapter and now no more noise. Thanks

Good deal I figured it had to be one of the two.

Good to know. Was it the smooth or rough side of the gasket towards the throttle body.

I don’t really remember. It still has a very slight leak but the loud noise is gone. I’m going to get some RTV and put it on the paper gasket and see if that clears everything up. The RPMs will hang around 2000 if I give it a small rev so im assuming it’s a vacuum leak from that.

I am going to do the exact same once I am ready to tighten it up after adding a few more mods.. RTV is the way to go because of porting the opening for the 95mn it’s missing that O ring part of the gasket.
