I’m shooting for 2900 with fiberglass doors and some pretty serious weight reduction

Can you elaborate on parts list?
I have CF doors that are empty, no glass no nothing.
18" lightweight wheels Hoosiers R7 and full roadrace cage and with 3/4 of fuel I am at 3470.
2900 is going to be a major accomplishment.

Will be removing AC compressor lines condenser. What's the weight savings, will report soon.
Katech aluminum flywheel soon too. Hopefully 45 lbs with those two.
Racing Brake rear two piece rotors soon too. That's another 17lbs. Ditch suitcase muffler with thin walled straight pipe. That's another ~20lbs.
Polycarbonate front and rear windscreens is another ~40. After that I really dont know what else there is.

I think the fact that it's 'rated' for 1000 lb/ft of torque is why it's not that light. It's a drag race part, not really a lightweight road race part.

If you saw the size difference between the aftermarket driveshaft and the factory one, you would understand why.

Or if you made enough power to actually break the factory one.

Oh I saw the beefy-ness of the QA1 alright, because I bought in and did the install. I am making fun of myself for doing it and getting such minimal savings in weight alone. Certainly looking forward to some of the other bennies of the carbon piece for sure! With that I still believe the minimal weight savings does equate to something as well, regardless. As did the UDP.
