I really didn't find the car to be that loud as long as he didn't rev it up then I don't see a problem with it. My neighbor has motorcycles and a ford raptor with headers and a exhaust system and it doesn't bug me at all

Back in 2004 when I moved into my new place, I was driving my 2002 Firehawk with long tube headers, high flow cats and the original SLP Loudmouth exhaust. The first few mornings when I fired the car up at 5:30 am, pretty much every light within half a block came on to see what was going one , but no one ever called the cops or even came by to complain that it was too loud. By the the first weekend I had pretty much met all my neighbors and either showed them the car or took them for a drive in it, and every one of them loved the way it sounded.

I have some friends who think it is funny to have a wide open exhaust and rev their engines just to tick off neighbors. Not a real good way to get along with the neighbors. Even though my "Rosie" is a little louder than stock, I try not to disturb my neighbors. Just common courtesy.

If you work odd hours or need rest, then it may be a bit easier to understand how someone could get a bit upset.

Not knowing every detail, here, it seems to boil down to "being neighborly."

But, that's just how I think about my neighbors.

Word I always make sure I close my cut outs before entering my street. Also if I pass a funeral or if its just generally late out, past 12 for my busy area.

With ark Dts and OBX i feel bad in the morning when i was stating at 530 leaving the house at 430 cold starts that early was loud. tried to be as nice as possible leaving not getting on it at all and park it so the exhaust lines up towards my house and not the neighbors.

I get home at 3 or 4am everyday and my neighbors kids make alot of noise around 10am when I'm sleeping. Does that give me the right to call the cops on them? It should if you think they can call the cops on me at night. The only reason I would understand is if I was doing burnouts in my driveway. Your neighbors should be beaten and have their knees broken.

Also if you're they kind of person that wakes easy you should move to a place with wider yards.. Some of you older people need to learn some manners and not waist an officers time like a child who misses their mommy..
