Wire harness relocation with 11" wheels and 30/30?
I just ordered my wheels (20x11 rears planning on 305/30) and I was reading in the rear you should relocate the wire harness behind the wheel well apparently? Anyone know if this is actually needed?
Only reason I ask, I had to ship the wheels and tires to a GM dealer. I don't want anyone else lifting the car because last time the car was on a lift at a non-GM place they ****** up my door and I didn't realize until it was too late. I doubt the dealer would want to move the harness for me or even have any idea what I'm talking about. |

Depending on the wheel offset, thats the stock 1le size. Shouldn’t require to move harness. Get the offset specs.

I moved the harness just to be safe. It wasn’t very time consuming and not difficult.

305/30/20 should be fine with the OEM 1LE offset or even slightly more, but do post yours or check the details yourself at https://www.wheel-size.com.
