How does this slam Toyota?
If you put aftermarket parts on your Chevy and the aftermarket parts cause a problem with you Chevy would that then be Chevys fault? I think not, this was not a plug in built by Toyota, as stated in your own post, this was a Toyota converted by the owner into a plug-in. I haven't found a Toyota that I would buy but you can't blame them for this. |

fyi....Toyota and Chevrolet are teaming up to share Hybrid technologies and production facilities. Toyota doesn't have facilities in the US to build the Prius and GM has a place in Calif. with extra room according to an article I read recently. Toyotas aren't plug in hybrids....it was converted by another company.

Can you provide a link for this? It would be quite useful in some other forums...

First GM And Toyota Team Up To Build Alternative-Fuel Vehicles Second Toyota does know what to do to go fast Toyota team runs GM-powered Tundra in Baja 500 I'm a bit older than most so just consider me a curmudgeon. I find no glee in the idea of somebody's car exploding while they are driving it. Besides the fact it likely causes a heck of a traffic back up. |
