Oh, yeah. Toyota sucks! Never had one, never will...
Please adopt me and take me with you. OK? Yes? Thanks.

How does this slam Toyota?
If you put aftermarket parts on your Chevy and the aftermarket parts cause a problem with you Chevy would that then be Chevys fault? I think not, this was not a plug in built by Toyota, as stated in your own post, this was a Toyota converted by the owner into a plug-in.
I haven't found a Toyota that I would buy but you can't blame them for this.

fyi....Toyota and Chevrolet are teaming up to share Hybrid technologies and production facilities. Toyota doesn't have facilities in the US to build the Prius and GM has a place in Calif. with extra room according to an article I read recently. Toyotas aren't plug in hybrids....it was converted by another company.

Can you provide a link for this? It would be quite useful in some other forums...

Whereas, I really don't like rampant fanboyism I will post a few links..

First GM And Toyota Team Up To Build Alternative-Fuel Vehicles

Second Toyota does know what to do to go fast Toyota team runs GM-powered Tundra in Baja 500

I'm a bit older than most so just consider me a curmudgeon. I find no glee in the idea of somebody's car exploding while they are driving it. Besides the fact it likely causes a heck of a traffic back up.
