Actually, the interior is just fine in my eyes. It's a bit plasticky, but then so is most everything else in the class. The basic design always seemed very clean and easy-to-use. Overall in terms of styling, the only real problem I have is the rear end, which really doesn't carry the four Chevy round lamps very well. To me, the Cobalt's weakest point is weight. In terms of weight, if this were the muscle car wars, the Cobalt would be the Dodge Challenger. It weighs just over 200 lbs heavier than the Mazda3, about 270 lbs heavier than the Corolla and Elantra, and 400 lbs heavier than the Civic. The Dodge Caliber is even lighter than the Cobalt is. In a class where people are looking for economical fuel-sippers, the Cobalt could do so much better if it were on par with the rest of the competition...there'd be no need to scrape together an XFE version.

I used to own a Cobalt coupe. It was a great drive and a beauty to view, but it does need to be refreshed, especially the interior as mentioned before.

I don't like it (this new Cobalt).
I mean, come on, even the new Opel Astra looks more powerful and agressive. |

Awesome! I love the new shape of the triangles!...especially towards the trunk where they turn into trapezoids!
Nah...seriously? It looks good. I wonder what the performace aspect of the new cobalt will be...once released...EPA and all.. |

Stuck in yesterday.
The car looks grrrrrrrrreat! I like how slick the shape is. I hope we'll see an SS version, all the better!

Thanks for whoever added the new pics.
I really like the overall shape of the car based on these pics. It has a pretty agressive look for such a small car.

Still kind of boring. They are going to have to come up with something better than this if they want to compete with Honda and Toyota in the small car market

I love it. With the better looks, possible 40 mpg with only 8 hp loss, and likely better interior, it makes me kinda sad with my current Balt. Guess I'll just have to get that Camaro to make me feel better...

No Camo at ALL!
We all know that whenever we see spyshots that the car can still be changed by the time it goes into production. Like i said in the previous post it looks much more aggressive, it stands out more. But it also just looks... well funky. I dont know what it is. But it's def a large step in the right direction. I like the overall design though.
