Yes the Fast and Furious movies aren't the best, but currently- we are in the face of car culture obliteration with all the upcoming regulations and what not. Shouldn't we be embracing this movie as some sort of tool to keep the car culture alive weather it be domestic, import, euro, or w/e? Thank God for fun cars!

I just saw it and I gotta say it was better than the other ones.
Even though i was dissapointed that they didn't really show Big Red and F-Bomb had a crappy role. Other than that the acting was mediocre and the car chases were unrealistic but entertaining. |

What a waist of money and a few hours of my life...UGH!!!! Do not go see this, do not buy the DVD or Blu-ray... I don't like to condone piracy but if you must watch this then download it but don't give any money to the franchise since we do not want them to make another one and we do not want kids going out there and attempting to drive like they do in the movie which you all know they will.. UGH!!!

I want them to make another one. Like someone already stated here, the car culture is dying and we're flooded with "car's just a tool to get from one point to another" attitude. Even the dumbest movie supporting car admiration (despite fuel economy, with regard to beauty and joy of driving) is worth supporting

I saw it last night with my wife. She's a car nut as well so we were pleased to go see it. I liked the first movie the best. This one was probably my second fave, and frankly the 2nd and 3rd movies were just so so. Yes, they are cheesy (aka check your brain at the door) types of movies. But being a gearhead, frankly we just don't get enough "auto" related movies. So I give a lot of leeway with regards to plot/thought in this type of movie.
With that said, my only real reserve with this movie was kind of two fold involving certain actors.... ****SPOILER ALERT**** DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE***** Why even have Michelle Rodriguez's character in the movie? I realize that her characters death was the catalyst behind Dom's return to LA, but she could have practically pulled a Talia Shire in the last Rocky movie and just as well not been in the movie. And I was interested to see how they would tie in the character "Han" from the Tokyo Drift movie since Dom's character knew him in the past. But he was also a rather wasted character in the movie. Also with regards to Han, since we know he left in this movie to go to Tokyo, this movie appears to actually be the "3rd" F&F movie timeline wise with O'Connor being in the FBI. ******SPOILER ALERT OVER********WE NOW RETURN YOU TO YOUR F&F THREAD ALREADY IN PROGRESS! |

I like the first F&F, and kind of liked the second one... hated Tokyo Drift. As long as the new one is a least as good as the 2nd one, then I'm fine

And can someone tell me what the hell Nitro-meth is? And why did Dom find some on the road, and it was an orange powder?

I notice a lot more Detroit metal in the new movie then in the last two, is this a shift with young consumer's as well?
